Geranium robertianum is an annual or biennial herb of height 40 – 50 cm. Stems are not rooting at nodes. Leaves are opposite, pentagonally orbicular, glandular. Flowers are pale purple, solitary or 2 flowered. Filaments are pink.

Whole plant is used for the treatment of toothache, dysentery and nose bleeding. Burnt leaves are used as mosquito repellants.The plant contains anti diabetic, antirheumatic, diuretic properties.
