Aster albescens in Valley of Flowers
Aster albescens is an erct, branched shrub of 40cm to 1.5 m height. It has purplish stems. Leaves are sessile. Ray florets are pale lilac becoming white and disc florets are yellow. The specific name Albescens means ‘turning to white’.
