Thymus linearis is a creeping, mat forming, spreading and strongly scented herb. Stem is four angled. Leaves tiny and 1 cm long only. Flowers are long, bright purple, crowded in short, terminal and ovoid clusters.

Uses

Also called the cinquefoils in English. Potentilla are generally only found throughout the northern continents of the world. The Wallich Geranium which is a perennial herb with paired rose pink to red-purple flowers with pale centres. Also seen is the Anemone which are perennials that have basal leaves with long leaf-stems that can be upright or prostrate. Leaves are simple or compound with lobed, parted, or undivided leaf blades.
