Primula reidii is a hairy herb of height 10 – 15 cm. Leaves are loosely arranged rosette, oblaneolate, denticulate or obscurely crenulate along the margins and hairy on both the surfaces. Flowers are ivory white, fragrant and bell shaped, slightly drooping.
